Promoting business between U.S. and German companies is the mission of the German American Chamber of Commerce (GACC). Success in international business often depends on how well we communicate with our foreign business partners. To ensure that there are future generations of American business people who can communicate with their German business partners, the Minnesota Chapter of the GACC established a student scholarship program in 1998. Thanks to certain members of the German American Chamber of Commerce, Minnesota Chapter, we will be able to once again award scholarships of up to $1,000.00 to Minnesota high school students. The students must demonstrate their interest and ability in the German language (vocabulary, grammar, and spelling) and participate in a German Essay Writing Contest. The scholarship must be applied to facilitate the German learning experience and will be paid to the institution or organization providing such.
